Your Privacy
As we are collecting your personal information, it is appropriate that we tell you how we will use it, and the fact that you may ask for access to it (if, for instance, you wish to ensure that your details are up to date)
Your personal information will be held in the church office, in a secure manner, for use by the staff to contact you regarding church activities.
Members of staff may use the information for pastoral care. This may include, but not be limited to, calling, visiting, e-mailing, writing to you.
Your name may be used in the church bulletin if you have a specific prayer request or if you have a birth, death, marriage, or engagement announcement or an announcement related to a ministry activity.
Your name will be included on appropriate church rosters that are handed to all members of the church involved in the general running of the services and associated activities.
If you volunteer to be involved in a particular group, the leader of the group will be given your name, phone and/or email address to contact you regarding rosters and training (if necessary). Your name and contact phone and/or email address may be added to their roll and given to other members of the group.
Your information will not be given to anyone via phone or e-mail. If another parishioner needs your information we will call/e-mail you and ask you to call/e-mail them. Generally though it would be best if parishioners obtain information from each other.
Your information will not be given to a third party without your prior consent unless required or authorised by law.
If for any reason you do not want your information held in the church office, or used in the manner outlined above, please indicate this.
